Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and
basic Algorithms - Basic understanding of backend development concepts (HTTP, REST APIs, clientserver architecture)
- Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI (academic or personal projects are
acceptable) - Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Familiarity with ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy), database migrations (e.g., Alembic), and
CRUD operations - Understanding of JSON, API integration, and authentication (JWT/OAuth)
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Good debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming (async/await)
- Basic knowledge of Docker
- Familiarity with Redis and caching concepts
- Understanding of clean code, software development best practices, and version
control workflows - Personal or academic backend projects demonstrating Python/FastAPI
development
