4th Uttarakhandi Entrepreneurs & Corporate Leaders Meet Held in Faridabad
FARIDABAD, August 22, 2026 More than 50 Uttarakhandi entrepreneurs and corporate leaders gathered at Hotel Sarovar Portico, Surajkund, on Saturday for the 4th Uttarakhandi Entrepreneurs & Corporate Leaders Meet, an event organised by the Uttarakhand Sports Foundation to strengthen business ties within the community.
The evening brought together professionals from diverse industries for discussions on collaboration, referrals, and building a self-sustaining business ecosystem among Uttarakhandis.
Event Opens with Tribute to Uttarakhand’s Leaders
The programme began with a Diya Lighting ceremony, followed by tributes to three historical figures associated with Uttarakhand’s identity and struggle:
- Shaheed Shri Dev Suman
- Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali
- Late Shri Indramani Badoni
Traditional Dhol Damau and Masak Baaja performances were held during the event, adding a cultural element to the business gathering.
Foundation Leaders Outline Vision
Mr Manoj Dobhal, Chairman of the Uttarakhand Sports Foundation and CEO of DishTV India, addressed attendees on the Foundation’s objectives and its broader vision for Uttarakhand.
Mr Vikas Pundora, General Secretary of the Uttarakhand Sports Foundation and Director at PhpYouth Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd, presented the vision and mission of the Foundation’s Entrepreneurs & Corporate Leaders Wing.
“Uttarakhandis should not just network with each other. We should grow with each other,” Pundora said, adding that members are being encouraged to use each other’s services, refer one another within professional networks, and collaborate on business opportunities.
Focus on Community-Led Business Growth
According to organisers, the meet was designed to move beyond conventional networking by encouraging active collaboration among members. Key objectives discussed at the event included:
- Using fellow members’ products and services
- Referring Uttarakhandi professionals within personal and business networks
- Collaborating on joint business opportunities
- Creating opportunities for other members rather than only seeking them
This marks the fourth edition of the meet, indicating a continued effort by the Foundation to build a long-term professional network within the Uttarakhandi community.
Event Concludes with Vote of Thanks
The event closed with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr Mahesh Kala, Patron of the Uttarakhand Sports Foundation and Founder & CEO of JV Micronics, who thanked attendees for their participation and continued support of the Foundation’s initiatives.
Organisers credited the event’s success to the Action Committee of the Entrepreneurs Wing, which coordinated planning and logistics for the gathering.
