The HYROX Race Format

HYROX does not change from city to city. You run 1 km, complete one workout station, run another 1 km, and repeat this eight times. That is 8 km of running and 8 stations, always in this order:

4. Burpee Broad Jumps: 80 m

HYROX Gujarat Ticket Price

HYROX uses dynamic pricing, so the price rises as spots fill. According to a ticket tracker run by RoxRadar (an independent service, not part of HYROX), these were the prices on 3 November 2026:

On the same date, Women Pro and both Pro Doubles categories were showing as sold out on all days, while other divisions still had spots on specific days. Availability changes quickly, so check the official ticket shop before you plan anything. Doubles and Relay tickets are bought per athlete, and spectators need their own ticket.

Refunds and name changes

The official page offers an optional Flex Add-On, which has to be bought along with the ticket and cannot be added later. With it, you can get a 100% refund up to 31 days before your race day and a 50% refund up to 7 days before your race day, excluding the add-on and service fee. For Gujarat, the 31-day window has already passed. Name changes are allowed up to one day before your race day. There are no transfers to other events and no division changes, so choose your ticket carefully.

2. Open the Gujarat ticket shop and choose your division and race day.
3. Decide on your partner or team early if you are racing Doubles or Relay.

5. After buying, personalise your ticket in your HYROX account. This is needed for name changes and photo packages.

Race Day Check-In and What You Get

Check-in opens at the venue 90 minutes before the first start wave of your division. You must bring a physical copy of your ID, because digital copies and photographs are not accepted, and nobody can check in on your behalf. You can only check in on the day you are racing. At check-in you receive:

• An athlete wristband and a venue access wristband
• An ankle strap with a timing chip
• Your bib number

You cannot race without all of these. Your race wristband gives venue access only on your race day, so if you want to watch on another day, you need a spectator ticket. The official race package also includes a finisher patch, your time on the live leaderboard with split times for each station, an age-group award ceremony, and aid stations on the course. How to Reach the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar

The venue’s own directions page gives these distances:

• By air: there is no direct metro from the airport to the venue. A prepaid taxi or a cab app is the simplest option.
• By metro: the Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar metro (Yellow Line) now runs from Motera all the way to Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, but there is no station inside the venue. Plan an auto-rickshaw or cab for the last stretch, and check the closest station and the current timings on the Gujarat Metro (GMRC) website or a maps app before race day.
• By road: staying in Gandhinagar gives the shortest race-morning journey. If you stay in Ahmedabad, leave early, as check-in opens 90 minutes before your division’s first wave.

If you have already booked, you have about three weeks to go. Coaches commonly advise using this time to sharpen your race plan instead of adding new, extreme workouts. A simple approach looks like this:

• Practise compromised running: run straight after a station, such as sled work or wall balls, so your legs get used to it.
• Do one or two half simulations: run through part of the course to rehearse your pacing and your transitions between stations.
• Keep station practice regular: SkiErg, rowing, sled, sandbag lunges and wall balls each week.
• Reduce volume in the final week: arrive fresh instead of tired.
