HYROX Bengaluru 2027 Date and Venue
Five days is a big step up for Indian fitness racing. The 2027 race runs from 19 to 23 May at BIEC Hall 4, on Tumkur Road in north Bengaluru, and HYROX describes it as a historic first for the country. The exact day for each division will be announced closer to the event. Your personal start time is usually linked about three days before the race, and start time changes are not permitted, so plan your travel around the slot you are given.
A note on dates: the body text of the global HYROX event page still carries an earlier placeholder of 12 to 16 May 2027, while the event header there and on the HYROX India site shows 19 to 23 May. We follow the 19 to 23 May dates. Please confirm on the official HYROX India page before you book flights or hotels.
How HYROX Bengaluru Began: The 2026 Debut
Bengaluru’s story started on 11 and 12 April 2026, also at BIEC. It was India’s first two-day HYROX event, staged as Ultrahuman HYROX Bengaluru with Ultrahuman, the Bengaluru-born health technology company, as title partner. According to organiser figures reported by The Tribune, the race drew more than 8,200 participants and over 12,000 spectators. For comparison, Mumbai drew 3,350 athletes in September 2025, so the turnout was more than double.
The weekend also showed how wide the sport’s appeal has become. An Adaptive category gave athletes with disabilities a place on the start list, and Olympic medallist P.V. Sindhu raced in the Mixed Relay. That is the crowd and the energy that the 2027 edition will build on.
HYROX Divisions at Bengaluru
The official event page lists four ways to race. The course layout is the same for everyone. What changes is the weight you move and whether you race alone or with a team.
- Open: the standard solo division and the best starting point for first-timers.
- Pro: solo, with heavier weights at several stations, built for experienced athletes.
- Doubles: you and a partner race together and share the work at the stations.
- Relay: a team of four, with each athlete covering part of the course.
Exact weights and movement standards are published in the official HYROX rulebook, and it is worth reading before you start training.
The HYROX Race Format

The beauty of HYROX is that the race never changes. You run 1 km, do one workout station, run another 1 km, and repeat this eight times. That is 8 km of running and 8 stations, always in this order:
- SkiErg: 1,000 m
- Sled Push: 50 m
- Sled Pull: 50 m
- Burpee Broad Jumps: 80 m
- Rowing: 1,000 m
- Farmers Carry: 200 m
- Sandbag Lunges: 100 m
- Wall Balls: 100 reps
Because the format is identical in every city, your Bengaluru time can be compared directly with athletes anywhere in the world on the official HYROX results and rankings site.
HYROX Bengaluru Ticket Price
Ticket sales for HYROX Bengaluru 2027 have not opened, and no price has been announced. The official page only says that tickets will go live soon. HYROX India uses dynamic pricing, so prices usually rise as spots fill and buying early is generally cheaper.
To set expectations, here is what the 2026 edition cost. ThePrint reported average ticket prices, before add-ons and GST, of about ₹7,242 for singles, ₹6,953 for doubles and ₹567 for spectators, with some categories reaching around ₹9,000. Treat these only as a 2026 reference, not the 2027 price.
Before you buy, keep these points in mind:
- Doubles and Relay tickets are priced per person, not per team.
- The athlete ticket covers your own race only. Spectators need a separate ticket.
- Name changes and refunds depend on the ticket add-on you choose, so read the terms carefully before paying.

On race day, athlete check-in opens 90 minutes before the first start wave of your division.
How to Reach BIEC, Bengaluru

BIEC sits on Tumkur Road in north Bengaluru, well away from the city centre, so leave early on race morning. According to travel details compiled by RoxRadar, an independent HYROX planning site, the options look like this:
- By air: Kempegowda International Airport is about 40 km away. Allow roughly 1 hour 15 minutes by cab, and more at peak hours.
- By metro: the Namma Metro Green Line currently runs to Nagasandra, and BIEC is a 15 to 20 minute cab or auto ride from there.
- By road: app cabs and autos are the easiest way to get to the venue. Book your return early, because thousands of people leave at the same time.
Metro routes and timings can change, so check the latest on the official Namma Metro (BMRCL) website. For hall layout and entry details, see the BIEC website.
How to Train for HYROX Bengaluru
You have about six months, which is plenty of time to prepare for a first race. Most coaches suggest 8 to 12 weeks of structured training for beginners, so you can begin in early 2027 and still arrive on race day with a solid base. Keep the plan simple:
- Running: regular easy runs plus intervals around 1 km pace, since you will run eight times.
- Compromised running: run straight after a station, such as sled work or wall balls, so your legs get used to it.
- Station practice: SkiErg, rowing, sled, sandbag lunges and wall balls every week.
- Strength: squats, deadlifts, lunges and carries for leg and grip strength.
- Simulations: a half or full run-through every few weeks to practise pacing.
HYROX has an official training club finder to locate affiliated gyms, and a preparation guide on its main site. If you have a medical condition or an injury, check with a doctor before starting a hard training block.
A strong running base makes a big difference, and road races are a good way to build and test it. You can find the latest race dates in our upcoming marathons in Bangalore list.
