We were deeply honored to welcome Shri Mohan Singh Bisht, Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly and MLA of Mustafabad Vidhan Sabha, as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the 1st Satya Prakash Ghildiyal Pink Ball T20 Knockout Cricket Tournament. The grand event took place on Sunday, 27th April, at the iconic Nehru Stadium, Ghaziabad, and was proudly organized by the Uttarakhand Club (USC Charitable Trust Regd.).
During his address, Shri Mohan Singh Bisht delivered a powerful message that resonated deeply with the audience. He passionately emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting our mother tongues—Garhwali, Kumaoni, and Jaunsari, as an essential step toward protecting our rich cultural heritage and maintaining our unique identity as Uttarakhandis.
He also stressed the need for the community to remain united, uplift one another, and actively contribute to the growth, development, and collective well-being of Uttarakhandis across the country. His inspiring words served as a heartfelt reminder of the values that bind us together—language, culture, unity, and mutual support.
The presence of Shri Mohan ji truly elevated the spirit of the ceremony, leaving a lasting impact on all participants, players, and spectators. We extend our sincere gratitude to him for taking the time to be with us and for his continued support toward initiatives that bring the Uttarakhandi community closer.
As we concluded the tournament with great enthusiasm and pride, we look forward to organizing more such events that celebrate our heritage, encourage sportsmanship, and strengthen the bonds within our community.
